Panzergewinde Threads- PG Threads , PG Thread Chart
The use of Pg threads is gradually being discontinued across continental Europe. A new metric thread standard, EN 50262, is set to become mandatory from March 1, 2001, effectively replacing Pg threads. Previously, electrical conduit threads followed a different standard based on the 55° Whitworth profile, which has now been rendered obsolete. These PG threads are used for Conduit fittings, Brass Bushings, Cable glands, Brass Stop Plugs, Brass slotted plugs, Nickel plated Brass cable glands etc.
